Backhaus becomes waxhaus!

Bring home a one-of-a-kind piece to elevate both the aesthetics, ambiance and aromatics of your space by joining the candlemakers from WAXAUF, as they guide you through the process of crafting your own CocoSoy scented candle

You will have the opportunity to make a candle, in your desired scent profile, in a container from our hand-picked collection of repurposed vintage vessels. Facilitate a circular lifecycle of product, using recycled vessels for candles, in contrast to traditional offering of candle jars that often get discarded

The wax we use is sustainably-sourced and clean-burning. Vessels can be easily cleaned and reused after burning. All materials are provided at the workshop

The space will be adorned with work from New Zealand artist, and friend of WAXAUF, Kate Reidy. Kate paints abstract faces and figures in a state of contemplation, reminiscent of watching the flame of a candle slowly burning. Kate will have original works and prints available for sale
